NEPA Ltd to be disinvested; BHEL AGM looks after as Director (Fin) till disinvestment
NEPA Limited, which was incorporated as a private enterprise on January 26, 1947 for the production of newsprint and was the sole newsprint manufacturing unit in the country, is now being disinvested by the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

The Ministry has assigned P J M Dixon, Additional General Manager (Finance), HEP, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, with an additional charge of Director (Finance), NEPA till the disinvestment of NEPA Limited.

Notably, NEPA is Asia's first paper mill and was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is based at Burhanpur district in Madhya Pradesh.
