NABARD unveiled its state-of-the-art Experience Centre at its Head Office in Mumbai, bringing the institution’s journey, innovations and impact in rural development to life through technology and immersive experiences.

Sanjay Lohiya, IAS, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Government of India, inaugurated the Centre in the gracious presence of Dr Shaji Krishnan V, Chairman, NABARD; Goverdhan S. Rawat, Dr Ajay K Sood and Rakesh Kashyap, Deputy Managing Directors, NABARD; Mrs Shwetha Rao B., Director, Department of Financial Services, Government of India; and senior NABARD officials.

During the inauguration, Sanjay Lohiya appreciated NABARD’s significant role in strengthening India’s rural economy and noted that the Centre brings together the institution’s extensive work, innovations and outcomes in an accessible and engaging format.

Dr Shaji Krishnan V. highlighted NABARD’s evolution as a catalyst for integrated rural development, emphasising how the Centre connects NABARD’s interventions with the people and communities they are intended to serve.

Leading the walkthrough, Sanjoy Ghosh, Chief General Manager, NABARD, shared the vision behind the Centre and showcased how its technology-enabled, interactive spaces bring NABARD’s diverse initiatives and interventions closer to life.
