Sanjay Kumar Panigrahi, Managing Director, JCI, met Maro Kocho, IES, of the at Guwahati to discuss various issues concerning the development, promotion, and value addition of jute in the North Eastern Region.

The meeting focused on enhanced collaboration among stakeholders to strengthen the jute value chain, improve market linkages, and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities in the region. An MoU among JCI, the NJB, and NEHHDC is already in place to facilitate coordinated efforts and cooperation towards these objectives.
