As part of the events organized during Hindi Pakhwada-2026 at HCL's Corporate Office, a Hindi Day celebration was held under the chairmanship of Chairman and Managing Director, Anupam Mishra. On this occasion, messages from the Home Minister, Minister of Coal and Mines, and Minister of State for Coal and Mines were read by Director (Operations), Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Sinha, Director (Mining), Ghanshyam Dasgupta, and Executive Director (Finance), respectively. After administering the Official Language Pledge to all members present, the Chairman and Managing Director stated that there is a difference between literary Hindi and official Hindi. It is our responsibility to follow all instructions received from the Ministry of Mines or any other ministry. The official language of the Union Government offices is Hindi, which is the spoken language. Therefore, use simple and easy language. He reminded us that the meaning of each word of the pledge is significant. If we encounter a common word in English or other languages, we should not hesitate to use it.
