Gujarat Tourism expresses interest in collaborating with PHDCCI tourism initiatives
Dr Kuldeep Arya (IAS), Secretary - Tourism, Devasthanam Management, Civil Aviation & Pilgrimage, Government of Gujarat, was called on by Ms Sulagna Ghosh, Secretary, PHDCCI, on 14 May 2026 at his office in Gandhinagar.
During the meeting, PHDCCI’s key tourism and hospitality initiatives planned for the year 2026–27 were presented and discussed in detail. Discussions focused on collaboration opportunities for Gujarat Tourism in the upcoming Spiritual Tourism, Heritage Tourism and Wedding Tourism initiatives being organised by PHDCCI across the country.
The Secretary was also apprised of Aanch: National Young Chef Competition 2.0, aimed at promoting young culinary talent and regional cuisines through zonal rounds and the grand finale.
Dr. Arya appreciated the efforts being undertaken by PHDCCI and expressed interest in exploring partnerships for tourism initiatives and events in Gujarat.
