Rajesh Gandhi, President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), was part of the Gujarat delegation led by Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, on the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 roadshow across Silicon Valley, Washington DC, New York and Toronto, from August 16 to 26, engaging C-suite executives and industry leaders to showcase Gujarat's targeted policies across Semiconductors, GCCs, Data Centres, Electronics and Science, Technology and Innovation.

The engagements focused on strengthening global supply chains, securing critical EV minerals, advancing partnerships in AI and cloud security, and fostering research and development linkages between Gujarat and leading global technology ecosystems.

The delegation comprised senior IAS officers including M K Das, Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat; T Natarajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Finance; Ms Mamta Verma, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Mines Department; and Sanjeev Kumar, Principal Secretary to the  Chief Minister. GCCI was represented by Rajesh Gandhi, President, GCCI, along with Nilesh Desai, Executive Committee Member, GCCI, Manish Kiri, Executive Committee Member, GCCI, Jaimin Shah, Chairman, AI, IT and ITeS Committee, GCCI, and Rinish Sekhani, Member, Textile Committee, GCCI.

The visit reaffirmed Gujarat's position as a preferred global destination for investment and innovation, ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit scheduled for January 2027.
