GCCI organizes an insightful session on Decoding Gujarat Industrial Policy
Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), in association with Deloitte India, successfully organized an insightful session on "Decoding Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026".
The session was graced by Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI, and Rajesh Gandhi, Senior Vice President, GCCI, reaffirming GCCI’s commitment to keeping the industry informed about key policy developments shaping Gujarat’s economic future.
The keynote address was delivered by K C Sampat, IAS, Managing Director, Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb) & Additional Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat, who shared comprehensive insights into the vision, objectives, and implementation framework of the Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026. He highlighted the policy’s ambitious roadmap towards a USD 3.5 trillion Gujarat economy by 2047, with a focus on investment promotion, employment generation, ease of doing business, sustainable manufacturing, and world-class industrial infrastructure.
Adding an industry perspective, Hardik Shah, Partner, Deloitte India, presented an overview of the policy’s incentive structures, sectoral opportunities, and the proposed Project T.H.R.I.V.E., offering valuable guidance to businesses across sectors.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Gaurang Bhagat, Treasurer, GCCI, who expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for fostering meaningful dialogue between government and industry.
