EIL CMD participates in India–Japan Country Roundtable
Japanese companies have been an integral part of EIL’s global supply-chain ecosystem, contributing to several projects across India and overseas. Building on this longstanding engagement, Atul Gupta highlighted India’s focus on fostering indigenous supply chains and a robust manufacturing ecosystem, while creating opportunities for global companies investing in India.
He also highlighted EIL’s engineering and project-management capabilities to support Indian and Japanese companies pursuing investments under the India Semiconductor Mission, including OSAT/ ATMP, semiconductor fabs, speciality chemicals and gases, and associated infrastructure.
He emphasised the importance of stronger collaboration among industry, technology providers and other stakeholders to develop resilient local supply chains, build project execution capabilities and accelerate the development of India’s semiconductor ecosystem. The remarks were well received by the participating Indian and Japanese companies and Senior Government Officials from Ministries.
EIL looks forward to deepening engagement with Japanese and Indian industry by leveraging its engineering and project-management expertise to support localisation, technology deployment and indigenous project execution, while strengthening the India–Japan partnership.
