Dr. Dhananjay Tiwary likely to look after as MD, BIRAC
The Government of India is expected to assign Dr. Dhananjay Tiwary, Scientist G, with an additional charge of Managing Director, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) upon the expiration term of incumbent Jitendra Kumar on June 8, 2026.
BIRAC is a Schedule B, Public Sector Enterprise, set up by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Government is yet to advertise the vacancy. A candidate for this post will be selected through Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) set up by the Ministry.
