Director (Technical), Achyut Ghatak visited the headquarters of subsidiary Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited in Ranchi.

During the visit, Ghatak, along with Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, CMD, CMPDI  inaugurated the new ICP-MS Laboratory Facility under CMPDI’ coal Characterization Laboratory. Equipped with advanced ICP-MS, XRF, and XRD systems, the facility will support coal exploration, critical mineral investigations, R&D, environmental studies, and geoscientific applications.

Ghatak also chaired a review meeting to assess the status of Coal India’s coal blocks and discuss the roadmap for their operationalisation. Senior officials from CMPDI and Coal India were present on the occasion.
