Darpan Jain to serve one-more year on central deputation
Before the completion of seven-year tenure on central deputation, the Government of India has extended a one-year term of Darpan Jain on centre working as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Government of India. Jain, who belongs to a 2001 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, had joined the central deputation on February 19, 2019. He is completing his seven-year central deputation tenure on February 19, 2026. The extended one-year tenure will be effective from February 19, 2026.
