CG CS chairs meeting to ensure smooth conduct of NEET re-exam
With a view to ensuring the smooth conduct of the upcoming NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination on June 21, Chief Secretary, Vikas Sheel chaired a meeting held at the Mahanadi Bhawan Secretariat.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed Collectors and Superintendents of Police to ensure the pre-inspection of examination centers, conduct mock drills, and oversee security arrangements, traffic management, and strict adherence to NTA guidelines. He also instructed officials to counsel students and create a positive, stress-free environment for the examination.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Singh, Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA), informed that 127 examination centers have been set up across 19 cities in the state for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination.
