Bhopal Unit of BHEL achieves a turnover of Rs 4647 cr
The Bhopal Unit of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has registered a turnover of Rs 4647 crore with 9 percent increase compared to last year in the 2025-26 fiscal year. 

Highlighting the achievements, Pradeep Kumar Upadhyaya, Executive Director, Bhopal Unit, informed that the Unit recorded a profit before tax of Rs 581 crore. Besides, cash collection is Rs 5530 crore while the orders were received of Rs 7861 crore.

On the other hand, the BHEL Bhopal also registered achievements such as: 88 transformers and rectifiers were commissioned; India’s 1st 500 MVA 400/220/33kVICT without OLTC commissioned; re-certification of NABL accreditation of UHV Lab-valid upto December 2029. 

Upadhyaya further informed that there has been replacement of LPG & Furnace Oil by PNG; EEPC Quality Award 2025-platinum award at highest category. The unit received ET Government PSU leadership & excellence gold award and best safety project award. The township facilities were also upgraded, the Executive Director added.

Upadhyaya informed that the unit has set a target of Rs 4716 crore turnover for next fiscal year.
