Despite six internal candidates, external candidate Krishna Kumar Thakur, Director (Human Resources), BHEL has been selected for the post of Director (Personnel), NMDC Limited. Thakur, who belongs to an IRPS cadre officer, is the youngest candidate on the board of BHEL and now switching over to NMDC Board. As many as 12 candidates including six internal and rest external candidates were interviewed for the same at the PESB selection meeting. He is switching over to Nav Ratna PSU from a Maharatna PSU.
