BEML Ltd’s CMD, Shantanu Roy, has been conferred the prestigious ‘Best CEO of the Year 2026’ Award by the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), a professional body recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI, at its flagship SCALE  (Supply Chain and Logistics Expo) event held in Bengaluru.

The award was presented by P M Biddappa, National President, IIMM, in the presence of senior officials of IIMM, industry leaders and professionals from the materials management, procurement and supply-chain fraternity. The recognition honours Shri Roy’s leadership and the innovative and strategic approaches adopted across BEML’s diverse business verticals, contributing to enhanced operational excellence, organisational agility and long-term business transformation.

Under his leadership, BEML has been strengthening Materials Management as a strategic business function, with a focus on manufacturing readiness, supply-chain resilience, cost competitiveness, quality and timely delivery.
