Ajay Singhal is new DGP, Haryana

A 1992 batch IPS officer of Haryana cadre, Ajay Singhal has been appointed as Director General of Police (Head of Police Force), Haryana. He was selected among a panel of three officers including Alok Mittal and Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor. He will serve for two-year fixed tenure.
