A Safai Mitra Samman ceremony organized at SECL
Under the guidelines of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, a Safai Mitra Samman ceremony was organized today at Ravindra Bhawan, Vasant Vihar, Bilaspur, as part of Special Campaign 6, run by SECL.
Director (Human Resources), Biranchi Das, was the chief guest at the event. Senior officials, department heads, officers, and employees graced the occasion.
On this occasion, Biranchi Das praised the contributions of Safai Mitras, stating that their role is crucial in creating a clean and healthy workplace. He urged everyone to make cleanliness a part of their daily routine and play an active role in maintaining a clean environment.
A major highlight of the program was the honoring of approximately 200 sanitation workers. The chief guest and senior officials honored them and expressed gratitude for their dedication, hard work, and contribution.
It is noteworthy that Special Campaign 6 is being conducted at SECL from October 2 to October 31, 2026. Under this, special emphasis is being laid on cleanliness, waste management, disposal of unusable materials and creation of a clean and organised work environment in offices and various workplaces.
