Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development (YEID) has carried out demolition and removal of illegal encroachment on the colonies being developed illegally in Tappal and village Marorgarhi and its surrounding villages in the second phase of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority in Aligarh district. In the said action, till now demolition action has been taken on about 1.5 lakh square meter land of Harit Vatika Marorgarhi and other colonies, the estimated market value of which is approximately Rs 450 crore. This action has been taken on the instructions of Yamuna Authority Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh by Yamuna Authority Special Duty Officer IAS Shailendra Kumar Singh and Deputy District Magistrate Abhishek Shahi and Tehsildar Manoj Kumar Singh and officials of the project department of the authority and police administration of Aligarh district.
