During a one-day visit to the Nagpur Area, Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of WCL, and Sandeep Paranjpe, Director (Technical - Projects & Planning), inspected Saoner Mine No. 1 today. Subsequently, they held a detailed review meeting regarding production planning with the Mine Managers of the Area's Mines No. 1, 2, and 3. The meeting covered production targets, productivity, safety, operational challenges, and future action plans in detail. Dr. Pande emphasized the need for effective planning, better coordination, and the adoption of modern working methods to achieve set targets within the stipulated timeframes. He underscored that strict adherence to safety standards alongside high production remains WCL's top priority. Appreciating the efforts of all mine managers and their teams, he urged them to continue delivering excellent performance through safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations. He also felicitated the skilled workers (both contractual and WCL employees) during the visit.
