Kerala Water Resources Minister Mons Joseph held discussions with senior officials of the Rubber Board at its Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by N Hari, Chairman, Rubber Board, and attended by M Vasanthagesan, IRS, Executive Director, along with other senior officials. The discussions focused on the timely disbursement of RPIS benefits, protection of rubber plantations from wildlife attacks, the feasibility of introducing an insurance scheme for affected rubber growers, and exploring financial assistance for intercropping during the immature phase of rubber plantations.
