VO Chidambaranar Port Authority organised a Trade Meet in Bengaluru, bringing together major shipping lines, container terminal operators, CONCOR, Customs, importers, exporters, and trade associations to strengthen trade partnerships with the Bengaluru trade community.

The meet was led by Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, VOCPA along with Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, VOCPA. The occasion was graced by Vijuvin, IRTS, Cluster Head – Chennai, CONCOR, and Kathirvel, IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin, along with representatives from leading shipping lines, terminals, CONCOR, Customs, importers, exporters, and trade associations.

The Deputy Chairperson presented an overview of VOC Port's key achievements, infrastructure, connectivity, and unique value proposition. This was followed by presentations from DBGT, TICT, TSAA, KPMG, CONCOR, and CHA Bengaluru, highlighting terminal capabilities, logistics solutions, and collaborative opportunities. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion with trade stakeholders, followed by the felicitation of trade partners by the Chairperson.

The meet reaffirmed VOC Port's commitment to strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing cargo movement, and expanding its presence in the Bengaluru trade market.
