V-Unite Delhi 2026: IIM Visakhapatnam Alumni Meet
An evening of reconnecting, exchanging ideas, and celebrating the enduring bond that continues to unite the IIM Visakhapatnam alumni community.
IIM Visakhapatnam had the privilege of hosting V-Unite Delhi, bringing together over 110 alumni from across programmes and batches. As part of the Institute’s V-Unite 2026 chapter meet series and 10-year celebrations, the gathering provided a vibrant platform for alumni to reconnect, strengthen professional networks, and engage with the Institute’s continuing growth journey.
The evening commenced with a welcome address by Prof. SUMOD S D, who welcomed the alumni community and highlighted the importance of sustained alumni-institute engagement in shaping the future of IIM Visakhapatnam.
A key highlight was a fireside chat on “How Organizations Can Lead Innovation in Disruptive Environments” featuring Aditya Punjabi, Executive Director, EY, in conversation with Prof. Prof. Gaurav Dilip Tikas. The discussion explored leading through change, fostering innovation, and enabling organisations to adapt and thrive in rapidly evolving business environments.
The Alumni Committee shared updates on recent activities, ongoing initiatives, and upcoming plans aimed at strengthening alumni engagement, collaboration, and networking across chapters. Prof. PRS Sarma also addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the Institute’s academic progress, recent developments, and evolving journey.
An engaging Alumni Bingo activity added an interactive dimension to the evening, encouraging alumni across batches and programmes to connect, exchange experiences, and build new relationships.
A special highlight was the launch of The Time Capsule, where alumni penned their visions and aspirations for IIM Visakhapatnam in 2036. These reflections will remain sealed until the capsule is reopened a decade from now, capturing the hopes of today’s alumni community for the Institute’s future.
The formal proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks by Hanok Dan Bunga, followed by a group photograph and networking dinner, where alumni continued conversations, rekindled old connections, and forged new ones.
