Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) proudly inaugurated the Trinetra Archery Academy at DVC Tubed Coal Mines, Latehar under its CSR initiative, in collaboration with the Dola & Rahul Banerjee Sports Foundation.

The inauguration was graced by S K Panda, Member (Technical), DVC, S S Das, Member Secretary, DVC, Amitanjan Nandi, Executive Director (Mining), Arvind Thakur - Head of Project, Tubed coal mines, B G Holker, Deputy General Manager (CSR), along with renowned archers and Arjuna Awardees Mrs Dola Banerjee and Rahul Banerjee, who inspired young participants with their insights on discipline, dedication and perseverance.

The academy aims to nurture young talent by providing professional archery training, enhancing technical skills, physical fitness, mental strength and competitive spirit. The event also featured cultural performances by students and a symbolic archery demonstration that added excitement to the occasion.

With a focus on creating opportunities for children from rural and tribal communities, DVC continues to strengthen its commitment to youth development, sports promotion and community empowerment, helping aspiring archers pursue excellence at district, state and national levels.
