TRILYTICS 2026 commenced at IIM Calcutta with an engaging inaugural session bringing together academic leaders, industry experts, and students to explore the evolving landscape of AI and data science.

The session featured a welcome address by Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Director, IIM Calcutta. Prof. Samit Paul, Founding Chairperson–PGDBA of Trilytics, reflected on the journey and evolution of Trilytics, while Prof. Abhipsa Pal, Chairperson–PGDBA, IIM Calcutta, delivered the opening remarks for Trilytics 2026. Prof. Vivek Rajvanshi, Dean–Development and External Relations, IIM Calcutta, and Chief Guest Vivek Khanvilkar, VP–Strategic Business Research, Sun Pharma, addressed the gathering. Prof. Dibakar Ghosh, Associate Dean and PGDBA Coordinator, ISI, and Prof. Rudra Prakash Pradhan, Dean–VGSoM and PGDBA Coordinator, IIT Kharagpur, joined the session online. The session also featured the launch of AINA 7.0, the PGDBA magazine.

The inaugural session set the stage for a two-day programme featuring discussions on AI in pharmaceuticals, GPT, AI-driven athlete performance, GenAI in entertainment, GenAI security, and responsible AI, governance and trust, along with case presentations and awards.
