An Official Language inspection of the Koteshwar Unit office of THDC India Limited was conducted by the Second Sub-Committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language in Nainital on June 25, 2026. On this occasion, the Sub-Committee members—Ujjwal Raman Singh (Convener and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha), Anil Sukhdevrao Bonde (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), Haribhai Patel (Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha), and Ziaur Rahman (Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha)—reviewed the implementation of the Official Language policy at the Koteshwar office. During the review, the  members of the Committee appreciated the implementation of the Official Language at THDC and offered several valuable suggestions. The Committee's Secretary, Dr. Nidhi Pandey, and officials from the Committee Secretariat were present on the occasion. Representatives from the Ministry of Power included OP Meena (Chief Engineer, CEA, Ministry of Power) and Shamsher Singh (Deputy Director, Official Language). Representatives from THDC included RR Semwal (Chief General Manager, TC), Dr. Amar Nath Tripathi (Chief General Manager, HR & Admin), Mohan Singh (Deputy General Manager, HR & Admin), Girish Uniyal (Manager, HR), Pankaj Kumar Sharma (Deputy Manager, Official Language), Ms. Vani Shukla (Assistant Manager, Official Language), and Smt. Neeraj Singh (Assistant Officer, Official Language).
