Mrs Vrunda Manohar Desai, IRS, Textile Commissioner, Government of India, Mumbai, reviewed the progress of PM MITRA Park, Amravati, Maharashtra, in a meeting held at the Office of MIDC, Mumbai.

During the meeting, Smt. Desai and Velarasu, CEO, MIDC, discussed the current status of the project, key implementation issues, and the roadmap for timely completion and operationalisation of the park. Sarveshwar Bhure, Joint Textile Commissioner; Ajit Kumbhare, Joint CEO, MIDC; Ashwini Pandey, Director & Regional Officer, Navi Mumbai; and Vijay Dhar Choubey also participated in the discussions.

PM MITRA Park, Amravati, is poised to play a significant role in strengthening India’s textile ecosystem, attracting investments, enhancing manufacturing capabilities, and generating employment opportunities across the value chain.
