The central deputation tenure of Shyam Jagannathan working as Director General (Shipping), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has been extended for a further period of two years. Jagannathan, who is posted at Additional Secretary level post, belongs to a 1997 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
