The closing ceremony at the NCL headquarters was attended by Director (Personnel) Manish Kumar, Director (Technical) Ashutosh Dwivedi, Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Kumar Jaiswal, heads of departments, officers, employees, school students, and sanitation workers.
On this occasion, students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Singrauli and Saraswati Shishu Mandir who won competitions held during ‘Swachhata Pakhwada-2026’ were honored with prizes. Additionally, sanitation workers who contributed significantly to maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the NCL premises were felicitated and presented with raincoats.
As an initiative to promote environmental conservation, a campaign to distribute fruit-bearing saplings to all personnel—including contractual staff—was launched during the ceremony. A total of 2,500 fruit-bearing saplings will be distributed under this campaign. Furthermore, steel water bottles were distributed to all NCL headquarters staff to discourage the use of single-use plastic bottles.
Various programs were also organized across all NCL projects and units to mark the conclusion of ‘Swachhata Pakhwada-2026’, motivating employees and the local community to embrace cleanliness, environmental conservation, and sustainable lifestyles.
