SJVN CMD briefs Parliamentary Committee about ongoing projects
SJVN Limited participated in the meeting held during Study Visit of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy (2025-26) at Hyderabad.
Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, SJVN, along with senior officials, welcomed and felicitated the Chairperson Shrirang Appa Barne and esteemed Members of Parliament from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
During the meeting, Bhupender Gupta briefed the Committee about SJVN's ongoing projects and operational power stations, as well as future plans and SJVN's role in development of Atmanirbhar Power Sector.
The discussions focused on the Role of Power Sector Statutory Bodies, PSUs and Institutions in development of Atmanirbhar Power Sector, with emphasis on strengthening domestic capabilities and advancing India’s energy security and self-reliance.
