Six-monthly review meeting held
A six-monthly review meeting was held with attending representatives from all 46 member offices.
The meeting was chaired by Rohit Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, NCDC. Rahul Mittal, CMD, RITES Limited; Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited; Amitabh Tripathi, Director (Commercial & Human Resource Development), WAPCOS; and Dr. Manoj Kumar, DG, LINAC were special guests.
The program was moderated by Yugpal Singh. The progress report of the member offices was presented by Mrs. Santosh, Deputy Director, NCDC.
In his presidential address, Rohit Gupta emphasized the widespread and effective use of the official language, Hindi. He stated that the use of Hindi should be further promoted in all offices. Also, encouraging those offices where work is still not being done completely in Hindi, he called upon them to do all their government work as much as possible in Hindi.
