Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, visited BEL Bengaluru today to review the execution progress of major projects and new policy initiatives.

During his visit, he led the ground breaking ceremony for "ANANTA", a Centre for Deep Tech, at CRL- Bengaluru and also inaugurated " SANKHYA" , the High Performance Computing & Quantum Experience Centre at BEL's Incubation Centre, Bengaluru, before releasing BEL's Quantum Policy in the presence of CMD BEL Manoj Jain.

He was accompanied by Ms Meera Mohanty, IAS, JS(P&C) and other senior officers of DDP.

Multiple advanced Technology Modules/Products, leveraging Quantum based technologies, were demonstrated by BEL scientists & engineers during the visit.
