SECL organizes ‘Yoga at Workplace’ Programme at Headquarters
The programme was graced by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan, Director (Human Resources) Biranchi Das, and Chief Vigilance Officer Himanshu Jain. Departmental Heads, officers, and a large number of employees from the headquarters also participated in the session.
The yoga session was conducted by Preet Pal Singh Gumbar, Senior Yoga Instructor from The Art of Living. He guided participants through various yoga postures, pranayama techniques, and meditation practices that can be easily incorporated into daily work routines. He emphasized that regular yoga not only improves physical health but also helps reduce stress, enhance concentration, boost productivity, and foster a positive mindset.
Participants enthusiastically took part in the yoga exercises and pledged to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives for overall well-being. The programme aimed to strengthen the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees while promoting a culture of wellness and well-being in the workplace.
It is noteworthy that, in the run-up to the International Day of Yoga 2026, to be observed on June 21, 2026, SECL is organizing various awareness and yoga-related activities across its headquarters, areas and units. These initiatives aim to promote the benefits of yoga among employees and their family members and encourage the adoption of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
