SECI MD participates in the Leaders’ Session
The session highlighted India’s evolving energy landscape and the need to accelerate the transition from conventional renewable energy auctions towards Hybrid, Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and storage-linked procurement to meet the growing demand for reliable, round-the-clock clean power.
Akash Tripathi emphasised the need to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply-chain resilience while ensuring competitive tariffs. He also highlighted the role of public sector institutions in de-risking large-scale investments and enabling greater participation from private developers and international capital.
The session reinforced the importance of innovative procurement, technology readiness and strong public-private collaboration in building a secure, scalable and self-reliant clean energy ecosystem for India.
