Review meeting of Uttar Pradesh Tourism held
A review meeting was held at the Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh, chaired by Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism & Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Amrit Abhijat, Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Culture & Religious Affairs; Mridul Chaudhary, Special Secretary & Director, Uttar Pradesh Tourism; Ashish Kumar, Managing Director, UPSTDC; Pushpa Kumar K., Director Tourism (Eco), Uttar Pradesh, and other senior officials.

The meeting focused on mapping facilities at tourism destinations across the state to ensure a seamless and enriching visitor experience as tourist footfall continues to grow. Regional Tourist Officers have been directed to assess key parameters including road connectivity, transport, lighting, passenger shelters, ramps, bilingual signage, tourist facilitation centres and tourism offices.

The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Policy 2022 and the status of investment and incentive applications, along with visitor facilities at Gokul and Barsana, development works along the Govardhan and Vrindavan Parikrama routes, restoration of kunds, parking facilities and projects focused on the natural heritage of Braj.

With a continued focus on infrastructure, accessibility and destination development, Uttar Pradesh is strengthening its tourism ecosystem to offer visitors a more connected, comfortable and memorable experience.
