REC's Quality Assurance Division holds one-day workshop
As part of ongoing RDSS projects, REC Ltd's Quality Assurance Division organised a one-day workshop in Patna, aimed at strengthening the power distribution system in Bihar. The workshop was attended by around 150 engineers from North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited.
The workshop was graced by IC Yadav, Project Director, North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, and Sh. Deepak Kumar, Project Director, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, as chief guests. The officials emphasised the importance of maintaining high-quality work while completing power projects on time.
From REC, HoD (PMD-Quality) Yogendra Singh, Chief Program Manager S K Bage, Pankaj Kumar Kapsimay, Mrs Gurpreet Kaur along with other officials, made presentations on strengthening quality monitoring, improving inspection systems, and enhancing coordination among agencies. Following the workshop, participants also undertook field visits to project sites in SBPDCL on 29th July and NBPDCL on 30th July 2026.
