RECPDCL hands over Ryapte Power Transmission Ltd to Tata Power Company Ltd
REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, handed over Ryapte Power Transmission Limited, the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), to the successful bidder, M/s The Tata Power Company Limited.
M/s The Tata Power Company Limited emerged as the successful bidder through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of intra-state transmission project of Karnataka viz. “Evacuation Scheme for 2000MW solar park at Ryapte Village, Tumkur District” on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The SPV was handed over by Mrs Monisha Barua, GM & HoD, RECPDCL to Tarun Katiyar, CEO & MD, TPTCL, in the presence of Managing Director, KPTCL and other senior officials from KPTCL, The Tata Power Company Limited and RECPDCL.
