As the nodal agency of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), REC Ltd conducted a workshop on Quality Assurance for Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company(CSPDCL) in Kawardha (Kabeerdham District) of Chhattisgarh.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on inspection practices Standard Bidding Document (SBD) compliance, defect rectification, and strategies for improved quality outcomes in power distribution infrastructure.

The session was graced by Satyaban Sahoo, Chief Program Manager, REC RO Raipur; M Jamulkar Chief Engineer (Project), CSPDCL, H K Meshram, Chief Engineer (Rajnandgaon Region),CSPDCLand officials from REC Corporate and Regional Office.

A major component of the workshop was field and store visits to RDSS project sites undertaken to assess workmanship and showcase the best on-ground practices.

The program witnessed active participation from DISCOM officials, Turnkey Contractors (TKCs), and Third-Party Quality Monitoring Agencies (TPQMA) fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening inter-institutional coordination for the delivery of quality power infrastructure under RDSS.
