The Government of India has honored Rajasthan for its outstanding performance under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. At a ceremony held in New Delhi, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi presented awards in four different categories to Ms. Aarti Dogra, Energy Secretary and Chairperson of Rajasthan DISCOMs. Rajasthan received a total of six awards for its excellent performance in the application, installation, inspection, and vendor registration processes for rooftop solar power plants.
