Power Secretary holds talks with Bangladeshi delegation

Secretary, Ministry of Power Pankaj Agarwal held bilateral talks with a visiting Bangladeshi delegation led by Ms. Mirana Mahrukh, Secretary (Power Division), Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources, Bangladesh.

Discussions covered cross-border power trade, transmission interconnections, the Maitree power project, renewable energy and storage cooperation. Both sides agreed to further strengthen India-Bangladesh power sector engagement through established structured mechanisms.
