Cabinet Minister of Fisheries & Ports, Government of Maharashtra, Nitesh Rane, visited Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and met with Gaurav Dayal, IAS, Chairperson, JNPA, along with Heads of Departments.

During the meeting, discussions focused on key port infrastructure initiatives and the progress of Vadhvan Port Project Ltd. (VPPL). The Minister assured the Government of Maharashtra's continued support for the timely execution of the project. This reflects a collective resolve to fast-track one of India's most ambitious maritime infrastructure initiatives.

The Minister also undertook a comprehensive tour of JN Port to gain first-hand insights into its world-class infrastructure, operational capabilities, and ongoing capacity enhancement initiatives that have established JNPA as India's largest container port.
