Dr Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), visited the Circle Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) Plant in Meerut, a key facility supplying CBG to GAIL Gas, Meerut.

He was accompanied by Sumit Kishore, Director - GAIL Gas & ED (Marketing) - GAIL, Ashu Shinghal, CEO -  GAIL Gas and Kumar Shanker, Managing Director  - IGL and other senior officials.

The delegation reviewed CBG production and offtake arrangements and discussed the growth of sustainable fuel infrastructure. The Secretary was also briefed on developments in the Meerut GA, highlighting collaborative efforts to strengthen India's clean energy ecosystem and accelerate the adoption of cleaner fuel alternatives.
