Pawan Hans reinforces commitment a safe, respectful & inclusive workplace
Pawan Hans Limited organised an engaging and insightful training session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) on 26 August 2026, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment towards creating a workplace that is safe, respectful, dignified and inclusive for every employee.
The session commenced with a warm welcome to Dr. Mukesh Ranjan Das, Former Executive Director (HR), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), by the CMD, Pawan Hans Ltd. In his address, the CMD emphasised the importance of continuous awareness and sensitisation on POSH, and the need to collectively nurture a workplace culture where every employee feels safe, respected, valued and heard.
Dr. Das is an accomplished HR and POSH professional with extensive experience in Human Resources, workplace compliance and organisational practices. He is currently associated with TERI as Senior Advisor and IIT Bombay as Visiting Faculty. He has also authored the book “Complete Guide on POSH” and has recently been conferred a national Thought Leadership Award on POSH, recognising his contribution to the field.
The training was highly interactive and participative, with employees engaging enthusiastically in discussions, case-based learning and practical aspects of the POSH framework. The session provided valuable insights into workplace behaviour, prevention and reporting mechanisms, responsibilities of employees and the importance of maintaining dignity and professionalism at the workplace.
Adding an element of fun and healthy competition, an exciting POSH Quiz was also organised by the trainer. The enthusiastic participation of employees made the session even more engaging. POSH Quiz Winners: 1st Position – Mr. Anuraj P B; 2nd Position – Ms. Shilpa Meshram and 3rd Position – Mr. Gyan Prakash.
