Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, along with Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), NHPC and Director, Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL), a joint venture of NHPC Limited and JKSPDC Limited; conducted a review visit to the 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project to assess the progress of various construction activities.

During the visit, CMD, NHPC and Director (Projects) inspected major project components, including the dam, powerhouse, service bay area, transformer cavern, pressure shafts and surge chamber. They also reviewed the quality of construction, safety arrangements and the availability of resources at the project site.

Subsequently, CMD, NHPC chaired the review meeting in the presence of Director (Projects), NHPC and Director, RHPCL; CEO-RHPCL, other senior officials and representatives of the executing agencies to review the overall progress of the project. CMD, NHPC directed all concerned agencies to maintain close coordination, strictly adhere to quality and safety standards, and take all necessary measures to ensure the timely completion of the project within the stipulated timeframe.
