NCL HR Director inaugurates AB-Scan & UVM machines at its hospital
Northern Coalfields Limited, Director (Human Resources), Manish Kumar, inaugurated the AB-Scan and UVM machines at NCL's Nehru Centenary Hospital.
Present on the occasion were Chief Medical Services Officer Dr. Vivek Khare, Head of Department (Ophthalmology Department), Dr Devi Das, CMS (In-Charge), Dr. Manjari Mehta, General Manager (CSR), Rajiv Ranjan, and other senior officials and staff.
These machines will facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. The UBM scan machine will allow for accurate calculation of the power of the IOL for cataract patients, significantly reducing their dependence on glasses after surgery and providing them with spectacle-free vision. Additionally, the AB-Scan (A/B Scan) machine will enable early detection of complex diseases involving the back of the eye, retina, and optic nerve. Timely, accurate diagnosis will ensure patients receive appropriate treatment.
