𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐣 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐥, 𝐈𝐀𝐒, 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐍𝐂𝐃𝐂, visited Odisha from 30 July to 1 August 2026 to review key cooperative initiatives and engage with senior State officials and stakeholders.

During his visit, he held meetings with the Principal Secretary, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department; the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Cooperation Department; the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS); the Managing Director, Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB); the Managing Director, Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (OMFED); and the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation, Government of Odisha. He apprised them of the major initiatives being undertaken by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, to strengthen and modernize the cooperative sector across the country.

The visit focused on strengthening collaboration across agriculture, MSP procurement, dairy, fisheries, handloom, handicrafts, cooperative banking, and other priority sectors, while advancing the vision of a modern, resilient, and inclusive cooperative ecosystem.
