NABARD marked its 45th Foundation Day by celebrating a remarkable journey of transforming rural India through innovation, resilience, and inclusive development, while reaffirming its commitment to building a sustainable and empowered rural future.

Extending his warm greetings on this milestone, Dr Shaji Krishnan V., Chairman, NABARD, reflected on the institution's enduring contribution to rural transformation and noted that NABARD continues to script some of the most defining chapters in India's development journey. He expressed his gratitude to the Government of India, state governments, partner institutions, and stakeholders for their steadfast support, while acknowledging the dedication and collective efforts of the entire NABARD family in shaping this legacy.

Looking ahead, Dr Shaji reiterated NABARD's resolve to strengthen resilient rural economies, accelerate tech-led innovation, deepen financial inclusion, and contribute meaningfully towards the vision of ViksitBharat through sustainable and inclusive rural development.

The occasion was graced by Goverdhan S Rawat, Dr Ajay K. Sood, and Mr Rakesh Kashyap, Deputy Managing Directors, NABARD, who congratulated the organisation on this landmark achievement.

The celebrations also recognised the exceptional contributions of District Development Managers (DDMs) through a special awards ceremony.
