NABARD, in collaboration with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, has launched two RuTAGe Smart Village Centres (RSVCs) in Telangana, marking another step towards technology-driven rural transformation. Established at Beerpur Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) in Jagtial district and Nandanam Farmers Service Cooperative Society (FSCS) in Hanumakonda district, these centres will serve as technology-enabled hubs for rural enterprises, agri-services and livelihood enhancement, bringing innovative solutions closer to communities.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr Shaji Krishnan V., Chairman, NABARD, underscored that RSVCs will transform PACS/FSCS into technology-enabled rural business hubs, creating opportunities for value addition, entrepreneurship and enhanced rural livelihoods.

The ceremony was graced virtually by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India; Dr Ajay K Sood and Goverdhan S Rawat, Deputy Managing Directors, NABARD, along with NABARD officials and the farmer community members.
