NABARD is celebrating National Handloom Day2026 by bringing together the timeless artistry of India's weaving heritage in the heart of Mumbai. The three-day Exhibition & Sale at the Head Office brings together exquisite handlooms, their makers, and the legacies behind every weave under one roof.

Dr Shaji Krishnan V., Chairman, NABARD, inaugurated the exhibition in the august presence of Goverdhan S Rawat, Dr Ajay K Sood and Mr Rakesh Kashyap, Deputy Managing Directors, NABARD. The dignitaries engaged with the weavers to understand their craft and commend their exceptional skills.

From vibrant Pochampally Ikat and elegant Bhagalpur Silk to Kota Doriya, Paithani, Kutch embroidery and many more, each weave is a showcase of the remarkable diversity of India's handloom legacy. This celebration reflects the institution's enduring commitment to preserving traditional crafts while creating sustainable livelihoods for artisan communities.
