Municipal Minister reviews Gajuwaka Development Works
Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Dr. P. Narayana, reviewed the ongoing and proposed development works in Gajuwaka Assembly Constituency along with MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, IAS, VMRDA Chairman Pranav Gopal, and VMRDA Commissioner N. Tej Bharat.
During the visit, the Minister inaugurated three advanced sanitation vehicles worth ₹1.31 crore, strengthening GVMC's mechanised sanitation system for faster, safer, and more efficient solid waste management across the city.
The review meeting focused on accelerating infrastructure development, including roads, storm water drains, drinking water supply, street lighting, parks, community halls, walking tracks, sports infrastructure, and urban greenery to enhance the quality of life for citizens.
The Minister directed officials to ensure timely execution of development works and reaffirmed the Government's commitment to building a cleaner, greener, and citizen-friendly Visakhapatnam.
