The Maritime Union of India (MUI) was proud to participate in Maritime Vision & Synergy 2026 in Jaipur, a platform that brought together maritime leaders, educators, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to discuss the future of shipping and the evolving maritime landscape.

Representing MUI, Capt. Savio Ramos, General Secretary, Maritime Union of India, addressed the gathering on the importance of seafarers' welfare, the role of trade unions in safeguarding the interests of maritime professionals, and strengthening the bond between seafarers and the maritime industry. He highlighted how continuous professional development, stronger industry collaboration, and collective efforts are essential to creating a more supportive, inclusive, and sustainable environment for seafarers.
